Project: Gardener Gus’s Groundhog Weeding Tool Tag and Sticker

Ray is an engineer and inventor who holds numerous patents.  After patenting his most recent invention, a garden tool (dubbed “The Groundhog”) that helps the gardener pull weeds more easily, he decided to market test the tool by having a short run manufactured.  He needed tags and stickers for the tool, and he was interested in them featuring a groundhog “mascot” named Gus.  I created the illustration of the groundhog holding the tool and then adapted it to fit on both the tag (2.375″ x 4.375″) and sticker (1.5″ x 2″).  In addition to the illustration on the front of the tag, the back features some basic instructions on how to use the tool.
